Aidan Tours and Travels (we, us, or our) operates aidantours.com and handles taxi and travel inquiries from Kerala, India. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or contact us about a journey by WhatsApp, email, or phone. Information you choose to share

Our inquiry form asks for your name, phone or WhatsApp number, travel date, number of travellers, pickup and drop-off points, service and destination preferences, and any message you enter. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. If you contact us directly, we also receive the contact details and correspondence you share, such as your email address or WhatsApp profile information. Booking discussions may include journey instructions and the terms you agree with us.

Please share only what is needed for your inquiry. Do not enter payment-card details, passwords, government ID numbers, or medical records in the form. Share another traveller's information only if you are authorised to do so. The website does not ask for access to your device's precise location; pickup locations are entered by you.

How the WhatsApp inquiry form works

The form prepares a message in your browser. Clicking Continue in WhatsApp passes the entered details to WhatsApp through a link containing that message. You can review and edit the message there. Aidan receives it only when you choose to send it in WhatsApp. The website does not submit completed inquiries to an Aidan website database and does not take online payments.

WhatsApp processes information under its own Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). Its processing may take place outside India. Your browser or device may also retain history or autofill information according to your settings. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, contact us by phone or email.

Website logs, cookies, and hosting

Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services in India. The server records technical information about requests, which can include your IP address, request time, page requested, browser information, referring page, and errors. We use these logs to operate the site, investigate faults, and protect against misuse. Logs are kept on a rolling basis for these purposes.

The current website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not include advertising pixels or embedded social-media trackers. Links to external services take you to sites with their own cookie and privacy practices.

How we use and share information

We use inquiry information to answer your questions, discuss availability and quotations, arrange services you request, provide journey updates, and resolve support issues. We may also need relevant records for accounting, legal obligations, or a dispute. Making an inquiry does not sign you up for promotional messages.

Relevant details may be shared with the people handling your request, including a driver or travel service provider needed for your journey. For example, a driver may need your name, contact number, pickup point, and travel time. Hosting and communication providers process information as part of their services. We may disclose information when required by law or a lawful request from an authority. We limit sharing to what is needed for the relevant purpose.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to handle your request and any related service, accounting obligation, or dispute. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. Retention can vary with the record and applicable legal requirements; contact us to ask about your information.

The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. We limit access to inquiry details to people who need them for the purposes above. No website, device, or communication service can guarantee absolute security. Deleting our copy of a message does not necessarily delete copies held by you, WhatsApp, or another service provider under its own policies.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose not to complete the form or not to send the prepared WhatsApp message. You can contact us to ask what inquiry information we hold, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, withdraw permission for further use based on your consent, or raise a privacy concern. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you, without asking for unnecessary sensitive documents.

We will consider and respond to requests under applicable law. We may need to keep some records for legal obligations or an ongoing dispute and will explain any restriction. Withdrawing necessary information may mean we cannot continue an inquiry or arrangement; it does not undo use that already lawfully took place.

Children and changes to this policy

A parent, guardian, or authorised adult should make inquiries for travellers under 18. Please avoid providing a child's personal details when a group size is sufficient. Contact us if a child has shared information that should be removed.
